1
Plucking
Only the top two leaves and a bud are carefully hand-picked by our skilled tea pluckers. This selective harvesting ensures that only the finest, most flavorful parts of the tea plant are used.

2
Withering
Freshly plucked leaves are spread out on troughs where air is circulated to reduce moisture content by about 56%. This process takes 12-18 hours and prepares the leaves for rolling.

3
Rolling
The withered leaves are rolled to break down cell walls and release essential oils. This crucial step initiates the oxidation process and shapes the leaves for the next stage.

4
Fermentation
The rolled leaves are spread out in a cool, humid room where they oxidize. This process determines the tea's flavor, aroma, and color. Our master tea makers carefully monitor this stage to achieve the perfect level of oxidation.

5
Drying
The oxidized leaves are dried using hot air, reducing moisture content to about 3%. This halts oxidation and preserves the tea's flavor profile. The leaves turn from green to a rich brown color.
